🐺 High Drama

Wolf

One player per hole calls wolf — pick a partner or go lone wolf against the field. Maximum chaos, maximum fun.

👥 Best with 4 players
💰 Easy Money

Skins

Win a hole outright or the pot rolls over. Simple, brutal, brilliant. One swing can change everything.

👥 Any group size
🎯 Pure Points

Bingo Bango Bongo

First on the green. Closest to pin once on. First to hole out. Three points per hole — handicaps level the field.

👥 Mixed handicap groups
🏌️ Going Deep

Stableford

Points over strokes. Bogey is 1, par is 2, birdie is 3. Play aggressive. Forget the big number holes.

👥 2–8 players

The Chirp Vault

"Still finding your ball? My grandfather moves faster and he's been dead for twelve years."
— The Impatient One, 14th Fairway

The Golf
Personalities.

Every group has one. Know who you're dealing with — and exactly how to handle them.

📊
The Stats Guy
Knows his GIR percentage since 2019. Has a spreadsheet for fairways hit. Will tell you his average drive length before you ask. Twice.
How to handle: Agree with everything. "Wow, really? 68.4%? That's insane." He'll buy the first round.
🐢
The Slow Player
Studies every putt from four angles. Takes a practice swing for a two-foot tap-in. Has never once been ready when it's his turn.
How to handle: Move his bag forward. Silently. He won't notice for three holes.
😤
The Club Thrower
Full backswing on a 4-foot putt. Hits the lip. Club goes sideways. "THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE." Lives in the bunker emotionally.
How to handle: Say nothing. Back away slowly. Let him cool. Reapproach after the next hole.
🧠
The Rules Lawyer
Carries the rulebook. Knows the difference between Rule 12.2a and 12.2b. Will invoke a one-stroke penalty on himself. For fun.
How to handle: Beat him with his own rules. Learn Rule 13.1c. Watch him squirm.
🎭
The Sandbagger
Claims a 22 handicap. Has an effortless 250-yard draw. Wins every Nassau. Somehow shocked every time. "I just got lucky today."
How to handle: Don't let him set his own handicap. Ever. Group vote.
📱
The Advice Giver
Never asked for tips. Gives seventeen. Watched a YouTube video once. Now he's been to Leadbetter Academy apparently.
How to handle: "Thanks man." Nod. Do absolutely nothing differently.
🌞
The Eternal Optimist
Shot 118 last week. Already "working on some stuff." This week is definitely his week. You love having him in the group.
How to handle: Protect his energy at all costs. The group needs this man.
🍺
The Social Golfer
Playing golf is secondary to the walk. Third beer by the 4th hole. Doesn't keep score after 9. Somehow the most fun in the group.
How to handle: Put him in the cart with you. Best round you'll ever have.
